1937: Edmondson’s solo show at the Museum of Modern Art opens in New York

The Museum of Modern Art opened William Edmondson’s solo exhibit in a temporary gallery in the then-new Rockefeller Plaza complex, accompanied by a national promotional campaign that garnered widespread newspaper coverage. It ran through December 1, 1937.
