Jackie Welch Schlicher – Co-Producer and Narrator

Jackie Welch Schlicher is a director, writer, and actor,  with over forty years professional experience, including Tennessee Repertory Theatre. Her credits span stage, Hollywood film and network television. She has shared the screen with Gwyneth Paltrow, Patty Duke, Michael McKean, Cheech Marin, and Eric Roberts. As a director, Jackie has helmed several stage productions including “A Raisin in the Sun.”

Jackie is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up on the campus of Fisk University as the daughter of a faculty member. She is a graduate of Duke University. Jackie is also an accomplished potter.
