Mark Schlicher is a documentary producer, director, and cinematographer with nearly 40 years of media experience. His work has been shown nationally on PBS, The Smithsonian Channel, and Lifetime.
For the last several years, Mark has immersed himself in original research to uncover previously unknown details about William Edmondson’s life and art. In the process, he has become a sought-after William Edmondson expert himself, co-curating exhibitions, giving presentations and leading panel discussions at leading institutions including the Barnes Foundation, Tennessee State Museum, and Cheekwood Estate. This work has also led him to become a leader in the effort to save and protect the former site of Edmondson’s Nashville, Tennessee home and workshop as a public park.
